Universal Studios Singapore is a theme park located within Resorts World Sentosa on Sentosa Island, Singapore. Works were carried out at the Shrek Castle and the Battlestar Galactica Rollercoaster.
Challenge
Shrek Castle
Due to overcrowding of work area with materials and many other machines, it is important to be able to work above the obstacles and reach the castle towers from a distance. The JLG 1350SJP Telescopic Boom Lift which has a good vertical reach and turning radius was recommend as a result.
Battlestar Galactica Rollercoaster
The structure of the rollercoaster curves at odd angles and thus it was a challenge to install bolts and conduct welding works at such heights. By attaching JibPLUS, an additional boom arm, to the JLG 1350SJP Telescopic Boom Lift, we gain the ability to turn and manoeuvre the platform around the roller coaster structure.
