Work at Height Safety Seminar – What You Really Need to Know About MEWPs

Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) are common access systems widely in use in the construction, marine and maintenance industries. Recent accidents have highlighted the need for all to understand how we need to work together to safeguard the user, owner, hirer and public who are working on or with MEWPs side by side.

The safe use of MEWP in various industries is a major concern for all. The equipment rental companies, users and regulators all have differing perspectives and expectation of what constitutes efficient use of MEWPs, sufficiency of training and division of duties and responsibilities.
