Light Lift 19.65 Lithium Ion 3s Tracked Aerial Platform by Hinowa

Hinowa has launched the second lithium-ion battery powered aerial lift. After the Goldlift 14.70 lithium, the Light Lift 19.65 Lithium IIIS has arrived. It is the
new ecological battery powered aerial platform. The patented lift uses a 15 cell battery developed with Italian battery company FAMM and will offer enormous benefits over both traditional lead acid batteries and diesel powered units.

The basic concept of the complete series restoration is to simplify the use of the machine for the operator. To put it simply, now it is enough to push a button to stabilize the machine, move a joystick to operate the aerial part and push another button to destabilize the machine. Everything has been made to design a machine perfect for hiring without operator.

MAIN INNOVATION BENEFITS:
1. Self Stabalisation & De-Stabalisation

All the 4 outriggers of the machine may be stabilised simultaneously and automatically with one button. With another button the machine may be destabilised automatically (absolute innovation for the sector). The system preserves the possibility to stabilize single outriggers manually in case of particular obstacles.

2. Remote Control
In the new 3S version remote control with simplified interface one joystick controls only one movement.

3. Movement Contemporaneity
Some hydraulic solutions have been added in order to have the possibility to carry out different movements at the same time. Furthermore, movement speed has been optimized and increased where possible.

4. Automatic Weight Selection in the Basket
In the 3S version the weight selection is automatic (120 – 200 kg) and does not allow errors or overloads. The low weight of the battery means that the lift will weigh only 20 kg more than the standard diesel version.

5. Lithium Motorisation Availability
LightLift 3S will be available in the 48V electric motorizations, with lithium battery pack. The 48 V/2 kW Li-Ion battery pack will provide four hours of continuous working – more than enough for a normal day’s work. The battery weights a third of the weight of traditional batteries; will last for 8000 hours, which is three times longer than lead acid alternatives; and take just two hours to reach an 80% charge (four hours for a full charge). They also do not suffer from the ‘memory effect’, with no damage caused by partial charging. An on-board charger allows the batteries to be recharged while the lift is working.
