Galmon factory in the 1980s
Galmon (S) Pte Ltd was established on May 25, 1982, to pioneer the use of hydraulically powered aerial access platforms and systems in the Asian-Pacific region. The Company office and plant were set up at Tuas (Jurong Industrial Estate) in Singapore later that year.
In the initial years, Galmon had 3 employees including the founding directors and a small fleet of aerial lift machines. Subsequently, many other types and brands of equipments were added to the product lines.
Today, the Company has since grown steadily to the current size of over hundred staff and a strong fleet of close to three thousand machines.
