Galmon (S) Pte Ltd was established on May 27, 1982, to pioneer the use of hydraulically powered aerial access platforms and systems in the Asian-Pacific region. The Company office and plant were set up at Tuas (Jurong Industrial Estate) in Singapore later that year.

In the initial years, Galmon had 3 employees including the founding directors and a small fleet of aerial lift machines. Subsequently, many other types and brands of equipments were added to the product lines.
By 1991, Galmon further expanded the business operations with a branch office and plant set up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Since then, the Company has been working as a major distributor in the region, and also expanded the business to many aerial lift dealerships in the neighbouring countries.
Today, the Company has since grown steadily to the current size of over hundred staff and a strong fleet of more than a hundred machines.
